All board members work on a voluntary basis. The board’s work continues throughout the entire year, as preparations for the next season take place during the winter months. Some of our members’ families have been involved in the Vienna Prater for over 150 years, while others have joined more recently. There is regular exchange among the members, and the Vienna Prater Association also serves as a constant point of contact for visitors, business partners, and anyone interested in the Vienna Prater.
As a non-profit association, we are not oriented toward generating profit – our goals are to enliven quality entertainment in the Vienna Prater, to preserve and promote the traditional cultural heritage of the “Vienna Prater since 1766,” and to ensure its continuation and development for future generations.
